Tatsumasa WATANABE

Born 1947 in Aichi Prefecture, Watanabe graduated from the Department of Painting at Tama Art University. He studied under the influential print artist Tetsuro Komai. In 1971, Watanabe

was awarded the Research Prize of the Shun’yokai Association. He formally joined Shun’yokai in 1977. Watanabe continues to produce delicate copperplate prints and teaches at Tama Art University.
