Gerard Titus-CARMEL

Born in France in 1942.

From 1958-1962, studied copperplate printing, architecture, framing, and dessan at Ecolle Boulle. While creating many oil paintings and drawings, also produced many print works. Held his first solo exhibition in 1964. Visited Japan in 1970 to exhibit at France's booth at the 1970 Osaka World Fair. In Japan, held solo exhibitions at Nishimura Gallery and Fuji TV Gallery. Titus-Carmel's works are collected in many museums around the world, primarily in Europe, but also in Japan and Mexico.
