Photographer. Born in France in 1923. Began taking pictures in 1946, then later worked for the agency Rapho. Born in Paris, raised in Paris, then, after the war, continued to take photos in Paris. One of the French photographers who represented 20th century photography along with Henry Cartier-Bresson and Robert Doisneau. Passed away 1999. |
