Yuji MISU |
Western-style painter, born 1927 in Kanagawa Prefecture. Misu graduated in 1952 from the Department of Oil Painting at Tokyo University of the Arts. In 1954, he participated in the Issuikai Art Association Exhibition. His first solo exhibition opened in 1971. |
His work was awarded a prize at the Expo 1975 in Okinawa. In 1976, he furthermore received the prestigious Yasui Prize. Misu died in 2010 at the age of 82. |
