Toshiya MURAKOSHI |
Born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1980, Murakoshi graduated from the Tokyo Photography College. He then started to concentrate on monochrome photography of the scenery of his native Fukushima, and won the Newcomer Award of the Photographic Society of Japan in 2011. Since 2009, he also runs the gallery TAP where he regularly exhibits his work and produces photo books. |
In 2012, Murakoshi’s works were included in the exhibition “Contemporary Photography 4” at Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art. In the same year, he established the publishing project “plump WorM factory.” His latest photo book is “Large Stones and Wolves.” |
