Miki NAGASAKI

Born 1986 in Aichi Prefecture, Nagasaki has among other works created the "Aa-chan" series, centering on the theme of 'kawaii' – cuteness. In 2011, she won the Grand Prix of the "Wood-carving Folk Art Ooya" competition, held in Hyogo Prefecture.

In 2014, Nagasaki showed the "Aa-chan" series at GEISAI #20 (Tokyo Ryutsu Center), which garnered her the first position in point ranking. She also creates the color application for Takeshi Haguri's wood sculptures.
