In 1994, Nam June Paik and Jonas Mekas’ collaborative event, “SeOUL NYmAX” was held in New York. In addition to the one month long performance series “Fluxus Reunion Concert”, original images faxed by 35 members of Fluxus were published as silkscreen prints. Those prints were compiled in an edition of 100 in leather bags printed with the word FLUXFAX, with each artist receiving an AP of 10. This may also be seen as a kind of visual poem with an axis of time? (Text by SHIOMI Mieko)
