Taro KITAGAWA

Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1976. 2000, graduated from Kanazawa College of Art Department of Art with a major in sculpture.
2007, graduated from Aichi University of the Arts graduate program in sculpture. 20017-2010, went to Cusco,
Peru for 3 years for the Agency of Cultural Affair’s Program of Overseas Study for Upcoming Artists. 2023,
participated in the same program for a shorter period in Carrara, Italy. Major exhibitions include Museo
Pedro de Osma (Peru 2023), Nagi MOCA (Okayama 2019), Nariwa Museum (2020), Tokiwa Museum (Yamaguchi 2021).
Major group exhibitions include "Everybody needs rocks" (Vangi Sculpture Garden Museum 2021),
"Can I Touch This? - Exhibition of Touchable Sculptures from the Museum Collection" (MoMA Kanagawa, Kamakura Annex 2022),
"DOMANI - Tomorrow Exhibition" (National Art Center, Tokyo). Public collection: The Museum of Modern Art, Kamakura & Hayama;
