TAKAMATSU Shin

He was an architect born in Shimane prefecture in 1948 and a professor emeritus of Kyoto university. He established Shin Takamatsu Architect and Associate in 1980 and won the Japan Institute of Architect Young Architect Award for “Origin I” in 1984. In 1989, he won the Prizes of Architectural Institute of Japan for “Kirin Plaza, Osaka” and the Minister of Education Award for Fine Arts for “Shoji Ueda Museum for Photography” in 1996.
