Jean METZINGER

He was a painter born in French in 1883. In 1912, he released the first theoretical book on Cubism “About Cubism (Du Cubisme)” cowriting with Albert Gleizes. He joined the group “Section d'Or (golden section)” with Jacques Villon, Fernand Léger and others. In 1956, he passed away at the age of 73 in Paris.
