Juan GRIS |
He was a painter born in 1887. Born in Spain, he went to Paris at the age of 19 in 1906. Having lived near the Picaso’s atelier, he was greatly influenced by him and began creating cubism paintings. In 1912, he exhibited at the Salon des indépendants and “Section d'Or (golden section)”. He also interacted with Henri Matisse in Collioure, a town in the south of France. He passed away at the age of 40 in 1927. |
