Web Magazine CollaːJ has been covering and photographing various lifestyles, historical buildings, crafts, modern architecture, etc. for 15 years under the theme of Japanese aesthetics. The number of published issues is 170, and the number of photographs exceeds 200,000. Magazine editing consists of collages of photographs, texts, and illustrations, and like cooking recipes, the fusion of ingredients creates a variety of world views. Usually, the viewer only has access to the completed magazine, but this time, scenes exclusive to the editing room have been visualised. As the number of issue increases, a magazine forms a personality and and begins to walk alone. It can be said that these works were created by this personality. In addition, a temporary CollaːJ editing room will be set up at the venue during the exhibition, so that visitors can see how CollaːJ staff work.
