SHIOMI Mieko "A FLUXGAME"

This plastic case is stuffed with a thin piece of string balled up at random, with “FIND THE END” written on the label. At first glance, this looks like a nonsensical game to find the end of the string, but but I can’t help feeling that this work hides a philosophical mystery. The artist is listed as Jack Coke’s Farmer’s Co-op because, according to a university student from a class taught by Paul Sharits, this work supposedly finds its basis there.
