Trisha BROWN
Born 1936 in USA. Dancer and choreographer. Starting her activity in mid 50s, she moved to New York in 60s, presenting her experimental works which exceeded existing theater concepts, broadening the possibility of dance and body expression. Trisha BROWN's achievement is regarded as a myth in the world of dancing. Many top end dancers and choreographers, such as William Forsythe and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, claims they have always been encouraged by her works.

More importantly, she has been producing many works in collaboration. The list of partners include names such as John Cage, Robert Rauschenberg, Robert Morris, Donald Judd, Merce Cunningham, Fluxus, Laurie Anderson and an architect Bernard Tschumi.
