Yoshihisa UDA
A native of Aizu Wakamatsu in Fukushima Prefecture, Uda graduated in 1992 from the Art Program at Iwate University. In 1996, he received the Art Award of Iwate Prefecture. In 2003, Uda participated in the VOCA Exhibition held at the Ueno no Mori Museum. In the same year, he received the Holbein Scholarship.

Uda since his student days has opted to mainly exhibit in solo and group exhibitions in Morioka in Iwate Prefecture, where he also continues to live.
