The rating of Andy Warhol has been continuously rising since his death in 1987. The key event of Warhol's acceptance in Japan was the large exhibition held at Daimaru department store at Kobe in 1974. Up until then, there were only several exhibitions held at galleries and department stores.

Ms. X was one of the significant figure to stand in between 70's Warhol works and Japan, including the large exhibition at Daimaru department store.

In this exhibition, we are displaying works from Ms. X's collection as "My friend Andy Warhol", which she has collected over friendships with numerous artists.
