Hisashi MOMOSE

1944年北海道・札幌市生まれ。北海道教育大学旭川分校卒業、岩手大学専攻科修了。シルクスクリーンやネコ・プリントの技法によって、美しい色彩の版画作品を手がける。80年代以降、和紙や箔などを用いた平面作品を制作、色彩のうつろう鮮やかな絵画世界を確立。オレンジからグリーンへ、イエローからピンクへなどグラデーションによる作品構成が特徴である。

作品は神奈川県立近代美術館やスコットランド王立美術館など、国内外の多数の近代美術館に収蔵されている。また2007年に東京ミッドタウンに設置されたパブリックアートワークも話題となった。
